Calendial is a photo calendar for iPhone made by Nabil El Nouby, Hamburg, Germany. The short version: Calendial does not collect any data about you. The developer never receives your photos, your text or anything else from the app.
The photos and lines of text you add are stored on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, they are also kept in your private iCloud database so that your own devices stay in sync. That database belongs to your Apple Account. The developer has no access to it.
If you switch on library suggestions, Calendial looks in your photo library for pictures taken on the date you are viewing and offers them to you. This happens on your device. A photo is copied into Calendial only when you tap it. You can switch this off in Calendial's settings or in the iOS Settings app at any time.
The camera is used only when you take a photo in the app. Notifications are used only for the daily reminder if you switch it on, and are scheduled on your device. Face ID or Touch ID is used only if you switch on the lock; Calendial never sees your biometric data.
Calendial Plus is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment. The developer receives no payment details and cannot identify who bought it.
Calendial contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party software that sends data anywhere. The app makes no network requests other than those to Apple for iCloud and the App Store.
You can export everything as a ZIP file from Settings, and deleting the app removes its data from your device. Data in your private iCloud can be removed under iOS Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage.
Calendial does not collect data from anyone, including children.
